Alligator Reef

Alligator Reef is a vibrant coral reef system marked by the historic Alligator Reef Lighthouse. Located approximately four miles offshore from Islamorada, this protected area within the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary offers diverse underwater habitats including patch reefs, spur-and-groove formations, and sandy plains that support abundant marine life.
