Diveline.io is a social media platform for divers where users can find dive sites, view site conditions, create dive reports, rate dive sites, and upload pictures related to their diving experiences.
To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
Our Service allows you to post, link, store, share and otherwise make available certain information, text, graphics, videos, or other material ("User Content").
By posting User Content on Diveline.io, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display such content in connection with the Service.
You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to post the User Content and that it does not violate any third party's intellectual property or other rights.
We collect and process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you agree to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may share your data with third-party service providers, including but not limited to Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Analytics, and Sentry.io, for the purpose of operating and improving our Service.
The personal data we collect includes, but is not limited to: first name, last name, description, dive certifications, profile pictures, birthdate, email address, and phone number.
In any way that violates any applicable laws or regulations.
To impersonate or attempt to impersonate other users or any other person or entity.
To transmit any unsolicited advertising or promotional materials.
To attempt to interfere with the proper functioning of the Service.
The Service and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Philipp Rieger and Jan Schwoebel and its licensors.
By submitting User Content, you grant us all rights necessary to use that content in connection with the Service and our business.
You may request to delete your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected]
Upon account deletion, your personal information will be removed from our active databases. However, some information may be retained in our archives and records to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, or for other legitimate business purposes.
User Content, including dive reports, ratings, and images you have uploaded to the Service, will be retained even after account deletion. This content will become disassociated from your personal account but will remain on the platform for the benefit of the Diveline.io community.
By using our Service and uploading User Content, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable license to retain and use this content as described in these Terms, even after your account deletion.
If you wish to have specific User Content removed after account deletion, you may submit a request to [email protected]. We will review such requests on a case-by-case basis but are not obligated to comply if retention serves a legitimate business purpose or benefits the Diveline.io community.
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
In no event shall Philipp Rieger or Jan Schwoebel, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page.
