  • Elevated bacteria levels possible due to recent rainfall

West-facing cove at Palos Verdes. Highly exposed to west through northwest swell which funnels directly in at high to near-full strength. West-southwest follows at moderate to high exposure. South through southeast energy is blocked by the peninsula. North swell wraps at moderate levels. Best during small south swells; winter storms typically close it out. The rocky entry is notoriously slippery, so sturdy booties and a careful approach are mandatory even on calm days.
