Macklyn Cove opens WSW, well-protected from dominant NW swell by Zwagg Island. Diver Rock to the west blocks direct W swell. SW/S swell enters through the gap with moderate reduction. Chetco Point to the south provides additional shelter. Unusually protected for Oregon coast.
