About This Site
Albion Cove lies at the mouth of the Albion River where the historic Albion Bridge spans the inlet. The cove offers protected diving in the lee of the northern headland, with granite reefs, kelp forests, and interesting structure along the river mouth. The site sees fewer divers than the state parks further north, providing a quieter experience.

West-southwest facing river mouth cove with moderate protection. Northern headland blocks NW through WNW effectively. WSW and SW enter at moderate exposure after refracting around the headlands. S swell wraps into the cove at moderate levels. The river mouth geometry provides some additional wave attenuation. More exposed to S swell than sites further north. River runoff significantly affects visibility.
