West-facing exposed beach—the least protected of the Mendocino sites. W swell arrives at near-full strength with only minor shoaling attenuation. WSW and WNW also hit hard. SW refracts in at moderate-high exposure. NW is partially shadowed by Caspar Point to the north. Requires small swell conditions for safe diving. Check multiple buoys before committing.
