Landing Cove

Southeast-facing cove on Anacapa's east end, well-protected from all northerly and westerly swell by the island mass. Primary exposure is to southeast and south-southeast energy. South swell arrives at moderate strength but is partially blocked by the cove's eastern headland. Excellent protection from dominant northwest conditions makes this diveable year-round.
