Metridium Fields

North-northwest-facing reef behind Monterey Peninsula, providing excellent protection from east through west-southwest. Northwest and north-northwest open progressively at low to moderate exposure, creating noticeable surge across the anemone garden. North through northeast see low to moderate exposure. Generally protected from most other directions.
