Crescent Bay in Laguna Beach is a Marine Life Protection Area (MLPA) since 2012, making it a "no-take" zone. It offers some of the best overall diving conditions and visibility in Laguna Beach, especially at Deadman's Reef. The area is known for its easy surf entries and exits, mostly sandy. During poor conditions, Crescent Bay might still have decent diving conditions.
